Smoothie bowls have been pigeon holed as just blended fruit you eat with a spoon rather than suck through a straw for too long. The beauty of a bowl is how much wonderful nutrition you can pack into them! Quickly and conveniently getting a wide variety of foods that taste great and hitting your micronutrients in one delicious meal. Here is one of our favorite go-to's:
Berry Nutritious Smoothie Bowl
8oz non-dairy milk
1 frozen banana
1 cup frozen mixed berries
1/2 small/medium avocado
1 packet Pure2 vanilla protein powder
1 handful spinach
For toppings: fresh banana, shaved coconut, mixed berries
Add all ingredients to blender and mix until smooth. Add small amounts of milk to mix if it's too thick to blend.
Top with shaved coconut, more berries (fresh or frozen), sliced banana, and more!
