5 Delicous Green Smoothie Recipes


In honor of St. Patrick's Day, we're rolling out 5 of the best green smoothie recipes in our arsenal! Some were made in-house, others are from our fellow plant-based purveyors of health.


Without further adieu, check out our favorite green smoothie recipes that are packing some major nutrition and flavor!


1. "Luck Of The Irish" from Elevated

An Elevated original recipe, this tall glass of refreshing and tangy is just what the doctor ordered as we welcome these sunny Spring days.

Recipe:

  • 1 cup kale

  • ½ cup spinach

  • 1 lime (juiced)

  • 1 apple or 1 cup unsweet apple sauce

  • 1/3 cup pineapple (frozen)

  • 1 ½inch slice of fresh ginger

  • 1.5 cup water

  • Bonus: Stir in 2Tbs chia seeds and let soak overnight in the fridge

2. "Spanish Cocktail" from Ginger's Healthy Habits

Talk about flavor. This bad boy requires a juicer, but is a definite must-try for the adventurous palette. But don't be afraid to try it! Recipe:

  • 3 celery stalks

  • 2 carrots

  • 2 small cucumbers

  • 1-2 garlic cloves

  • 1 small piece of jalapeño

  • 1 lime (peeled)

  • 1 zucchini

  • 1 tomato

  • 1-2 green apples


3. "Deliciously Detoxing" from Elevated

Another recipe from the Elevated kitchen, this blended goodness is perfect to reset and refresh your day (or diet!).

Recipe:

  • 4-5 ½ in slices cucumber

  • 2 cups spinach

  • ½ cup blueberries (frozen)

  • ½ lemon (squeezed)

  • 1½ small avocado (1/4 of a large one)

  • 1½ cup water

4. "Green Machine" from Plant Based PA

Recipe:

  • 8oz unsweetened almond milk

  • 2 scoops PurE2 Vanilla Protein

  • 1 handful of spinach

  • 1/2 avocado

  • ½ frozen banana

  • 1 tbsp peanut butter

  • 5-6 ice cubes


5. "Minty Coconut Shake" from Thrive Market

  • ½ up unsweetened almond milk

  • ½ can coconut milk

  • 1 cup packed baby spinach

  • 5-7 mint leaves, stems removed

  • ½ avocado

  • 1½ tablespoons honey

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon peppermint flavor or extract

  • 2 teaspoons coconut oil

  • 1 cup ice, crushed

  • 1 teaspoon cacao nibs
